1122 Greenlawn: Green Tree
As an owner of Green Tree’s 1122 Greenlawn Drive, you may appreciate the low probability of anyone forgetting your address. Depending on the proximity of your in-laws, you may not consider that probability a perk. Fortunately, this charming brick dwelling offers more than an apt street name. That natural hardwood accounts for most of the property’s flooring, all three bedrooms included. The kitchen floor, of course, is tiled – but not in the way you’d expect from a home built in 1957. (We love the way its butcher-block counters, subway-tiled backsplash, and stainless appliances add a modern element.)
You’ll certainly still get that late-1950s feel in the adjacent dining room (they still make those?) and in both full bathrooms. And, probably — though they’re not as decade-specific — any time the home’s functional wood-burning fireplaces are in use. Can you believe there are two here? One is in the spacious living room; the other occupies the lower level’s also-spacious family room. Aren’t you relieved that we finally mentioned the family room so you can understand what’s going on with those floors? We get you. And we’re thrilled to report that they’ve just been replaced by brand new carpeting.
See, this is the kind of place that gets better with age. Is it currently move-in ready? Yup. But it’s also a steal if you’re looking to build equity with some minor improvements. Either way, it’s best not to wait around for someone else to grab it. Contact us to set up a showing.
